Monday 15 september 2015 --> New video! Venin Carmin - Fade & Forget

July 2015
New video!
ImiAFan + Dario Seraval - Crne Rukavice

A novelty for Seja. The ImiAFan + Dario Seraval and Venin Carmin records will come with a unique download code!

ImiAFan + Dario Seraval - Against The Walls (SEJA 10, 12” MLP)
File under: Darkwave, Electro, Synth-Pop
In 2015 we kick off with not exactly the least of the music scene. ImiAFan did a lot of releases at different labels
before and worked with greats like Adrian Smith (ClickClick), Makina Girgir, Charles Kent and others. This year, the
Czech already released a 12" record on his own label 4MG Records. The collaboration with Dario Seraval originated from
a deep admiration for BORGHESIA, the band in which Dario Seraval takes the lead vocals on his behalf. A few years
ago Dario contributed to ImiAFan’s Neurozone album. It is this cooperation that developed and resulted in this minialbum.
'Against The Walls' is a melancholic record built around texts from former Eastern European punk bands GRC
and Berlinski Zid together with a contribution of the Slovenian poet Tomaž Šalamun. The combination with the synths,
bleeps and beeps from ImiaFan makes this album as wonderful as danceable. Moreover, the great sound quality of this
record makes listening to it an almost Kraftwerk-like music experience.

Venin Carmin - Glam Is Gone (SEJA 11, LP)
File under: New Wave, Post-Punk, Synth-Pop
‘Glam Is Gone’ is the vinyl debut of the French multi-instrumentalist Camille Marine Bourgeois. She wrote all songs,
lyrics and played all instruments by herself. Apparantly for a good reason she recorded the album at 'Death To Majorsstudio’,
for this lady is averse to conventions. Venin Carmin has clear references in the New Wave and Post-punk of
the eighties but manages to transfer this just as well with a modern twist. That makes "Glam Is Gone" into a
contemporary record. The lyrics, written from a female perspective, are about relationships, boredom, sex and violence.
Sung in a naive kind of way they are occasionally caustic in its observations. Venin Carmin comes with an album full of
goodies that changes flavor before you have in mind. It easily can put you on the wrong track. This moreish!

May 2015 Two new album teasers are uploaded:
SEJA 10: ImiAFan + Dario Seraval - ‘Against The Walls’

SEJA 11: Venin Carmin - ‘Glam Is Gone’

March/April 2015
Two new vinyl releases are at the pressing plant!
ImiAFan + Dario Seraval
is a moody minimal electro MLP with gothic influences build around lyrics from eastern Europe punk bands GRC, Berlinski Zid and the Slovenian poet Tomaž Šalamun. Music composed by Imi Vegh, Miki Bernath and Dario Seraval. Vocals by Dario Seraval. Imi Vegh is known by his artist name ImiAFan. He contributed to the Seja sampler “A Visual And Auditory Reminder Of The Beauty Of Life” in co-operation with Adrian Smith (Click Click) with the song “Try One”. Dario Seraval is known as member of the Slovenian EBM group Borghesia.
Venin Carmin is a project of Kelly Venin, previous member of “Kelly Und Kelly”. Venin Carmin is powerfull dark music with twisted lyrics from a female point of view sung in a kind of naïve way. This is called Dead Pop from which music and lyrics will drench into your body and soul. Then you'll now... Glam Is Gone!

Coming Seja releases

Hi! Seja doesn't look back very often. Probably that's why Seja is the only label around that doesn't do obvious re-issues all the time… Oh well, if that's a little mean I'm so sorry (not). Anyway we are very proud of last year's releases and that's why we look a little back in time. I think the first one this year was the record with the long title: ‘A Visual And Auditory Reminder Of The Beauty Of Life‘. It was a great experience to work with so many bands and artists. Though it was also difficult to give each of them the attention they deserve. But luckily you did by buying the record! Thanks for your positive responses on this one! After that we did the Das Ding single which originally was planned to be released after the Fatal Casualties - ‘Psalm’ album. Well, we switched these two due to technical reasons. Also releases to be proud of! And last one this year was a CD by Niton Decay titled ‘Chronic Haze’. Again a beauty of darkness by one of Seja's main men Stefan Gonser.
Oh... I didn't even mention the “Seja records Label Night” yet! With Sophya, Das Ding and Fatal Casualties. Yes that was really fun. Also great was “Seja's Obscure Fest” with M. Witch, Messy & StrangString and Schedelvreter. So we had a great year. It was cool and steamy hot at the same time! Now we will look into the future again after saying one more thing:
